MEDICAL CRYOLIPOLYSIS CRISTAL®
With CRISTAL® Cryolipolysis, non-invasive cooling of selected subcutaneous adipocytes (tissue made up of fat cells) becomes possible. The goal is to induce lipolysis (apoptosis), which is the decomposition of adipose tissue (fat cells) leading to the elimination of excessive local fat deposits and cellulite, without damaging any surrounding tissue. The cryolipolysis is a well-established treatment in the United States and is being studied extensively by leading scientists in dermatology and aesthetic medicine worldwide.

HOW DOES CRISTAL® WORK?

HOW DOES THIS TECHNOLOGY WORK?
CRISTAL Pro is a latest-generation medical cryolipolysis device. This procedure allows the crystallization of fat cells that self-destruct due to cold temperature applied. During the treatments, the fat fold is cooled down to -12 ํC for an average of 40 to 60 minutes. The crystallized fat will then be eliminated naturally and definitively over the weeks following the session, giving way to harmonious curves. This technique is non-invasive and requires no anesthetics. The effectiveness and safety of this technology have been proven by numerous clinical studies.
What is happening during a CRISTAL Pro session?
First, your doctor measures the thickness of the fat tissue using the ultrasound scanner and defines the treatment parameters to achieve your goals. He or she then applies a cryoprotective gel pad on the area to be treated. Next, the applicators are placed over top of the gel pad. Fat crystallization begins and will last on average between 40 and 60 minutes. Comfortably settled, all you have to do is relax, read or listen to music. Once the session is over, your doctor will massage the treated area to accelerate the lymphatic drainage process and fat cells elimination.
Can I carry on with my normal activities after a session?
There is no downtime required after treatment with the Cristal Pro, as it is non-invasive. You can continue with your normal activities immidiately after the session.
When will I see result?
There are no immediate results, as the fat cells are gradually eliminated by the immune system. You will begin to see results at about 4-6 weeks after the treatment and you will continue to lose fat in the treated area during the following months.
Is the CRISTAL Pro safe and are there side effects?
CRISTAL Pro therapy is non-invasive and perfectly safe with over 1,000,000 treatments performed worldwide. This technique select fat cells and does not affect any other surrounding tissues. It is possible to experience light side effects such as redness, bruising, swelling and a feeling of numbness in the treated area. These effects naturally disappear within a few hours or in a few days.
How many session are need?
The results vary form patient to patient, but it is generally recommended to conduct one to three sessions in the same area to get the results you desire.
Are the results permanent?
The fat is crystallized and permanently removed from your body. However it is important that you take good care of your new body with a balanced diet and a regular physical activity.
